GOALS AND BASES

The need for promoting the MUFFA rises from certain observations raised in the African companies :
  • Numerical superiority of the women in the majority of the populations of the countries of sub-Saharan Africa : it constitutes of it more half
  • their important role in the family : they are the pillar because, principal provider of the basic needs for their family
  • their marginalisation by the structures of economic promotion although being dynamic economic agents

MISSIONS OF THE MUFFA

The principal missions of the MUFFA are of :
  • To combat the poverty by the improvement of the living condition of the woman
  • To combat unemployment of the women
  • To develop the female activities
  • To support the woman in the entrepreunariat
The creation of a MUFFA results from a process of development in five (05) chronological phases :

Phase 1 : The Sensitizing which has the role essential to form and to inform the populations target on :
  • the role of the saving in the process of their assumption of responsibility
  • need for counting initially on themselves
  • pride to be and remain accountant of his future
Phase 2 : the Mobilization of the resources (saving), feeder source of the investment, engine of the economy ;

Phase 3 : financing of the generating individual activities of the incomes ;

Phase 4 : The realization of the economic projects of common interest

Phase 5 : The development of the social projects.

After ten (10) years of existence (the first unit was born in 1998 in Yaounde), the MUFFA is still on the level of phase 03. Studies are in hand with the godfather, First Bank, to approach the phase four (04).
•  An economic and social empowerment institution set up and managed by women and for women;

•  An democratic organisation : One woman one vote

MUFFA is an initiative of female entrepreneurs regrouped in a club of investors know as the WINC (Women Ivestment Club)
