• IN CONNECTION WITH AMC²
The Association of MC² and MUFFA in summary "AMC² "which gathers the whole of MC² and operational MUFFA in Cameroon, were created on November 19, 2003. At March 31, 2005, it counts 66 micro banks thus 63 MC² and 3 MUFFA, left again on all 10 province of Cameroon.
It was then a question of creating a federation of MC²/MUFFA. The setting-up of such a federal structure requiring reflexion and ripening, it was set up a Consultative Committee which, during nearly four years looked further into the idea and was used as framework of dialogue. Making way, the idea of the federation was given up, and MC² and MUFFA chose a national Association. Today, it is made thing.
The Association of MC² and MUFFA in summary " AMC² "which gathers the whole of MC² and operational MUFFA in Cameroon, were created on November 19, 2003 at the end of its Constitutive General meeting. Declared under N° 1279/RDA/J06/BAPP of January 08, 2004 with the Prefecture of Mfoundi, it is governed by law 90/053 of December 19, 1990 relating to the right of association.

The governance of a Microfinance establishment (MFE) consists of a number of mechanisms by which the stakeholders determine and pursue the global goals and objectives of the institution
It is evident that the viability of a microfinance institution is, for a greater part, conditioned by the establishment within it of an efficient governance, notably where the policy and legal instruments are known and respected by everyone; from which flows the necessity for each board member to have a better knowledge of the vision, mission and the obligations of the institution.
Conscious of this necessity, the General Assembly of the Associations of MC² and MUFFA (AMC²) with the collaboration of their support structures, have decided to provide MC² and MUFFA with the present code of ethics which defines the duties and obligations for members of the Board.
