GOALS AND MISSIONS
ADAF aims at: Training and helping African rural populations to improve their living conditions, by actions geared towards:
  • the access to banking techniques and facilities taking into account their cultural tradition and religious beliefs;
     
  • ensuring the development of rural areas with their active contribution;
     
  • Improve health and educational conditions, as well as rural production;
     
  • support the constitution of solidarity groups among rural populations so as to pool efforts towards development;
     
  • promote women activities in rural and urban areas;
     
  • encourage, facilitate and enhance research on the processiong and valorisation of local materials, and on the promotion of microfinance;
     
  • promote the development of micro-sized companies by the underprivileged in african rural and urban areas;
     
  • see to the self-fulfilment of its members.
Thanks to its expertise, ADAF which has been devoted for soon fifteen years to the durable development and the fight against poverty in Africa and particularly to Cameroon, proposes to the operators microfinance and development, several services adapted to their needs
ADAF (Appropriate Development for Africa Foundation) is a non profit- making Organisation based in Cameroon and specialised in the figth against poverty and for sustainable development. Created in 1992, it was granted authorization to operate in Cameroon in 1994 by Order N° 00336/MINAT/DAF/SDLP/SAC of 30/11/1994.
